    About

    About Mummy Time

    Mummy Time was a concept thought up by Chezzi Denyer in 2011 when she had her first baby but was unable to join a Mother’s Group at the time.

    She recognised the important need to discuss topics with other Mums but found it difficult to connect with them due to unique working hours and travelling on the road with her husband filming Sunrise.

    Initially creating Mummy Time TV, Chezzi believed that a show allowing the viewer to feel like they were sitting down with other Mums discussing relevant topics like Tantrums, Fussy Feeders, Social Media, Labour, Breastfeeding, Sex After Birth & Sleep (the issues that plague all Mums!) could be very powerful. So alongside husband Grant Denyer, she crafted the initial episodes with a select group of Mums.

    From that point, the concept has only expanded. Guest bloggers, a Podcast in development and a community that only continues to grow and connect…

    About Chezzi Denyer

    Working for years on shows such as Sunrise, Today Tonight and Seven News, Chezzi Denyer’s intimate knowledge in the world of content creation, combined with her skill and timing as a comedic yet sympathetic presenter have proved crucial in the development of Mummy Time.

    In early 2017, Chezzi launched her online blog, The Chezzi Diaries which exceeded all expectations. Self-deprecating and comical with moments of real heart-warming depth, the blog offers a humorous and intimate insight into Chezzi’s day-to-day world. With topics ranging from breastfeeding, weight loss, ‘best for bubs’ to what it’s like being a blogger on a country property without internet connection, Chezzi’s vulnerability and intelligence are immediately apparent. And surprisingly, the Diaries are building a large following of not just new or current mums, but also grandmothers, godparents and fathers as well.

    As well as the creator of Mummy Time, Chezzi is also an ambassador for Jeans for Genes Day & Rural Aid.

    After marrying husband Grant in 2010, the couple now reside on a farm in country New South Wales and have two young daughters, Sailor (6) and Scout (2).

    LISA // Working Mummy
    @lisa_gibson01

    Lisa is a devoted mummy to two little people under three, Harvey and Willa. As if that wasn’t already enough – she also manages to work as the Regional Manager for a Health Insurance company. Lisa is based in country NSW, and moved there to have her family after working for over a decade in Sydney in various high-end advertising, sales and marketing roles. She seems to juggle so much with great ease, leaving many who meet who wondering “how does she do it”, yet her outlook on motherhood is refreshingly honest and humorous. And while her bio may make her out to be a superhero, her ability to burn everything she attempts to cook keeps her grounded.

    JULES // Stay-at-home Mummy
    @newmumstheword

    Julia is from Newcastle and a stay at home mum to Emmison who is nearly two. She started her Instagram page when she was four weeks pregnant when she found that the forums online were outdated and hard to follow and comment on. She had so many questions and wanted to share her journey with others and found it an amazing way to connect with other women– to share advice and also to get reassurance. She has continued to share the trial and errors of motherhood in an honest and light hearted way. Julia has recently graduated as a Doula (Birthing Partner) and is excited to embark on this new journey supporting and empowering other women before, during and after birth.

    LAUREN // Clueless Mummy
    @thudandpop

    Lauren is a former political journalist who worked in TV and radio in the federal Press Gallery before taking a break to have her children. Having dealt with tantrums, meltdowns and hissy fits from the people who run our country, Lauren thought dealing with one small baby would be a breeze. She was wrong.

    As she struggled to find her way in this new, isolating and confidence-crushing world, Lauren started to write: and people started to read. Her award winning blog, The Thud shares her sometimes raw, sometimes hilarious, always foul-mouthed observations of surviving motherhood, warts and all.
